General Information

(I) School Hours

Session 1: 8.15 a.m. to 11.15 a.m.

Session 2: 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Parents may remain in the classroom with their children on the first 2 days of school.

(II) School Fees for 2011

§ School fees include daily refreshment

§ School fees are to be paid by the FIRST WEEK of each school term

§ All cheque payment should be crossed and made payable to "Foochow Methodist Church Kindergarten". On the reverse side of the cheque, please state the name of the child and the term for which the fees are paid

§ School fees paid are not refundable and non transferable

§ School fees may be paid in advance for any term

§ School fees do not cover bus transport, uniforms, concert costumes, excursions, books or special events

§ School fees may be revised subject to approval from the Ministry of Education

§ Parents may use the Baby Bonus scheme (Child Development Account) for fee payments

(IV) School Terms

(V) Admission

Admission for any academic year is governed by the age stipulated by the Ministry of Education. Age is calculate based on 1 January of the year of admission

(VI) Registration Procedures

1. Registration

ü Registration can be done from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.00pm

ü Registration is on a first come first served basis

2. Registration Fees

ü There is a non refundable registration fee of S$30

3. Deposit for 2011

(VII) Withdrawal

§ One month written notice must be given before the effective date of withdrawal

§ Any child, failing which, the one month deposit will be forfeited by the kindergarten

§ This notice must be given no later than 4 weeks before the end of the term

§ This applies only if the child has started school and one term fees has already been paid

§ School fees paid for the current term is non refundable

(VIII) Book & Material Fees

§ Fees may differ for each new academic year

§ Fees for books are payable at the beginning of the school year or upon admission (for new students)

§ Material Fees are payable at the beginning of every term

§ Fees are non refundable and non transferable

§ Book and material fees include readers, workbooks, activity sheets, stationary, etc
